Yes, I’m Still Alive

Wow, I doubt anyone visits this place anymore since I haven’t written in such a looooong time but wanted to tell any interested parties that I am still alive :-) Just busy and a bit burnt out with my web work… and my computer time in general.

Here is a little photo of a funny Italian pigeon. Whatever people may say about them, I love pigeons… They remind me of my childhood and how I used to chase them around and watch them fly away. Don’t ask me why but little children in Bulgaria love to do that :-)

This one was intently exploring the nearby tables at a charming Florence cafe our group was sitting at. Was funny!

Hey, I found your blog from your flickr page, and just wanted to drop by to say that I absolutely ADOORE your photos. They’re all beautiful, and I love how you manipulated the lighting in each of them. I think that you’re a great model too, you manage to look so different in all of your self portraits :)

Hey Ilina! Haha, it’s good to know you’re still alive! I check your blog maybe once a week or so. hah. I like this pidgeon! I was in Oslo a few days ago and there was a little boy chasing pidgeons around as his parents took pictures. I guess Norwegian children like to do it too.
Anyway, i hope you’re not tooooooo burnt out from your work and that maybe you’ve gotten into a normal sleep schedule again. haha. Take care!

Nick - thanks for checking in here, you must have lots of faith in me! I have sooo many photos to edit but haven’t found it in me to do that yet. I miss Flickr a lot but I really needed time away from the computer! I hope your Norway adventure is going great btw…

@Nick: Agreed….!! I have one week left till I finish my personal project and then I should free up a little. That’s the plan. I just need to keep my perfectionism under control. I do need to do some photography though. Been way too long!!

@Stardust30: Hey there! Thanks for stopping by, and for the nice words :)

  11. Nick Says:

oh wow you’re that far? that’s exciting! that should be awesome when you’re done. haha a little perfectionism goes a long way, but a lot of perfectionism goes nowhere. :P
haven’t you been taking any photos this whole time??

  12. Ilina S. Says:

    lol :)

Nah… I tried, but couldn’t get too inspired. I have some ideas but I am a horrible multi-tasker. I think I will get more inspired when I free up. How are you anyway? Where are you now? Drop me a line.

  13. Nick Says:

Oh, I will definitely check out your blog!
The project in question :-) will take a while to get released as it needs to go to the programmers now, but I really can’t wait :-) It’s been so hard to make it but I’m really proud of the result and I can’t wait to use it myself… hehe

  15. Nick Says:

hey thanks for checking out my blog! :)
Man so how long do these things usually take with the programmers? i really want to try it out. it must feel good to be done for now, right?
